Suppositious (PILOT + BIBLE)
This is an hour long pilot and series bible for a series I wrote for Genre Screenwriting with Wendy Jackson. It showcases my worldbuilding, character development, and screenwriting skills quite well.
The description is as follows:
he picture-perfect owners of the renowned and prized Trinity Casino, AGUSTIN AND SOLEDAD, have a secret: their oldest son, SALVADOR, is done being their punching bag behind the scenes—he’s going to bring his cruel, two-faced parents down by working with their business partner and capo of the mob, MAXI so he can finally live independently, even if it means leaving his best friend and his burden of a little brother, ABEL, behind.
Suppositious is an hour-long drama made for streaming, about a young man’s escape from his abusive household and into the fugitive underworld, all while he tries to keep his younger brother from suffering the same fate. Think of the drama of SUCCESSION and the many twists present in GINNY AND GEORGIA. It’s also about what truly makes a man a father. Is it the quality time spent with your child? Or is it the DNA you share in your blood?
